Dratuna
I really don't know about this, Steam is kind of niche for professional drawing applications. Plus, Affinity on the Microsoft Store ensures compatibility with Windows S versions (which is used in some businesses that limit installing software) as well as on the App Store (this made sense to get ready for the upcoming Apple Silicon Macs). These two made sense, but Steam doesn't make much sense and doesn't have very much of a reason to be on it. To be honest, while a few drawing programs like Krita actually are on Steam, there's honestly not very much of a point to post the Affinity suite on Steam, because that site appeals to gamers and not you know, professional businesses. wonderings
I am lost here, why would you want to buy it on Steam when there are 3 valid and simple options out there. Mac App Store, Windows App Store and direct from Serif. Is the only reason to see how much time you have spent using the software? Pretty bizarre I think, not sure why that is important and if it really is there are plenty of time clock options out there that you can start up every time you open up the apps.
