DarkClown
When switching a document from Designer to Photo or vice versa the original applications stays active (but - obviously - doesn't show the document any more) ... This may be by design but is pretty annoying and certainly not useful with regards to workflow. walt.farrell
It can be useful if you decide to send the document back to the original application later, as processing speed is improved. DarkClown
Hmmm, maybe I don't get what you mean. When working in Designer and you select "Edit in Photo" Designer stays active with no document open any more.... obviously you want to go on working in Photo but Designer stays active. So you proceed working on the document in Photo and sooner or later you want to continue again in Designer ... You click "Edit in Designer" and Photo stays actice .... but obviously you want to continue in Designer ... And end up with an empty surface in Photo and have to manually switch to Designer again ... I don't get where there is an increase in processing speed Quote i7-12700KF, 3.60 GHz, 32GB RAM, SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, Wacom Intuos 4 Tablet, Windows 11 Pro - AP, AD and APublisher V1 and V2https://www.timobierbaum.com
walt.farrell
You didn't need to have Designer start up again when you switched back to it from Photo. And, similarly, if you need to switch back to Photo again it won't need to restart. carl123
I think DarkClown is referring to the fact that Edit in Photo (etc) does not automatically switch focus to the APhoto app (under certain conditions) I too, find this somewhat annoying walt.farrell 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
