Hi,

I am testing the trial version of Affinity Photo and trying to place an image (Photo - JPEG file) into a Shape.  I have used the preloaded shapes in LHS Margin, placed a Shape on the document and then placed an Image on the document and then moved both the Shape and Image and tried to use the Layer Tool.  However the Shape always shows as a solid block of colour and I am then unable to place the Photo inside the Shape.

How do I place an image in a shape.

Thank you!

In the Layers panel, drag the shape layer and drop it onto the thumbnail of the image layer.
