843 - AFP exit open IDML file

Hello,

I want to open an IDML file (Created by Indesign CS6) - doesn't work - AFP closes without any information. I can reproduce it.

If useful, you can get a recorded video.

W10-2020H2 64bit, 16GB

Hmm this opens fine for me, can you provide any external images and fonts that the idml may be using too?

the IDML file is on the NAS in a main folder and the photos (about 400) are in many subfolders of this main folder. I can open the IDML file with the official build 1.8.5.703. How many photos do you need?

I'll probably need all of them, I suspect it will be related to loading one or some of those images and will need to try narrow it down. If you could zip up the whole idml package (the file and all related resources) it would be appreciated

done, I used the dropbox link above for the ZIP file. I have deleted photos with people on them

Hmm, that idml isn't crashing on open for me, so it could possibly be related to the images missing. Can you just confirm for me if you open the idml in the package you sent that it crashes, and if so navigate to %appdata%\Affinity\Publisher\1.0\ and zip and upload the CrashReports folder.

done. I guess you mean the crash folder of the beta build. But as far as I can see even if I just reproduced the crash - no new logs are created.

And yes I work with the same files I sent to you and get the crash. If possible for you we can make a Teamviewer seesion.

I did indeed, should have said "...\1.0 (Beta)\"

Can you download the latest beta we just released and see if it still crashes, then double check you still get no crash report if it does?
