Kear Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Since I have updated to Affinity Photo 1.8.6 there is no longer a preview of the respective (Affinity) photo in the Finder. I am using macOS Catalina in its latest version, and it seems that you broke proper Catalina support when you implemented support for Big Sur. Please fix this so that there is a preview photo again in the Finder. Thank you. Quote
Kear Posted November 13, 2020 Author Posted November 13, 2020 I was right. You optimised your software for macOS Big Sur and, in doing so, introduced the bug in macOS Catalina. Because Preview in the Finder works fine in macOS Big Sur. Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 16, 2020 Staff Posted November 16, 2020 Hi @Kear, Welcome to Affinity Forums Please go to Affinity Preferences, General section and check if you have Save thumbnails with documents ticked. If not, enable/tick it. Open and re-save the file(s) that you weren't able to see the preview in Finder. Are you able to see them now? Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Holger Ullmann Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 (edited) Have the same problem. The suggested solution does not work. This option is already selected in the default settings. Edited December 7, 2020 by Holger Ullmann Quote
