Preview in Finder not working in version 1.8.6

Since I have updated to Affinity Photo 1.8.6 there is no longer a preview of the respective (Affinity) photo in the Finder. I am using macOS Catalina in its latest version, and it seems that you broke proper Catalina support when you implemented support for Big Sur.

Please fix this so that there is a preview photo again in the Finder. Thank you.

I was right. You optimised your software for macOS Big Sur and, in doing so, introduced the bug in macOS Catalina. Because Preview in the Finder works fine in macOS Big Sur.

Welcome to Affinity Forums
Please go to Affinity Preferences, General section and check if you have Save thumbnails with documents ticked. If not, enable/tick it. Open and re-save the file(s) that you weren't able to see the preview in Finder. Are you able to see them now?

Have the same problem. The suggested solution does not work. This option is already selected in the default settings.
