lepr
APub beta 1.9.0.843 macOS 10.13.6 Installed retail apps: Serif Store APub 1.8.6 MAS AD 1.8.6 MAS AP 1.8.4 Installed beta apps: APub 1.9.0.843 AD 1.9.0.9 AP 1.9.0.203 When I try to use the Designer Persona in Publisher beta, a window appears and tells me that Designer needs to have been launched. However, I have already launched my currently installed Designer beta (and retail) several times. I have no trouble using the Photo Persona, but my Photo beta is considerably older. A reboot of the Mac has been performed, but it hasn't helped. Staff Gabe Posted November 13, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 13, 2020 Hi @anon2, Thanks for spotting this. This is caused by the new 1.8.6 MAS builds. We're working on it!

I have no problem launching the Designer beta 1.9.0.9 when MAS AD 1.8.6 is installed. The problem is when trying to use Designer Persona in APub 1.9.0.843. Old Bruce
I am seeing the same thing, it is a problem with the Betas not the retail versions. The window tells me to launch the betas, but no luck with that for Designer. Photo's beta will still not recognize the Mac App Store version of Photo so it will not launch. Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Staff Gabe Posted November 17, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 17, 2020 Yep. Not confusing this one with the previous issue. However, the latest beta should fix this:
