Staff AdamW Posted November 13, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 13, 2020 Status: Beta Purpose: Updates and Fixes Requirements: Purchased Affinity Publisher Windows Store: Not submitted Download: Download Auto-update: Soon Hi, We are pleased to announce that Affinity Publisher Customer Beta 1.9.0.843 is now available as a download from the link above. If this is your first time using a customer beta of an Affinity app, it’s worth noting that the beta will install as a separate app - alongside your store version. They will not interfere with each other at all and you can continue to use the store version for critical work without worry. This beta is significant update from the 1.8 version available for purchase - we strongly recommend that you do not use this beta for real work as data could be lost and the files you save are not guaranteed to open in previous or future versions of Affinity Publisher. --- Fixes And Improvements Updates to Application Registration General Fixes Crash converting Picture Frame to Text Frame Set DPI and Profile on new image nodes Fixed Context Toolbar image DPI slider Import / Export Fixed crash importing specific PDF Fixed crash importing specific Excel file Duplicated PDFs render as interpreted when context bar states passthrough IDML Import - Fixes for issues with Text Styles after import IDML Import - Improved loading speed for image heavy documents Resource Manager Resource Manager now sorts case-insensitive List SVG previews were rendered too large in Resource Manager Package Fixes for Package when sharing between macOS and Windows Fix for losing track of resources in the event they can't be automatically resolved Text Performance improvements with Hyperlink Panel showing User created anchors on headings could be deleted when generating a TOC with no bookmarks Bookmarks created by TOC not in the correct order when exported to PDF Fixed generation of wrap shapes for certain images with alpha --- Release Notes for 1.9.0.829 Release Notes for 1.9.0.822 Release Notes for 1.9.0.798 Release Notes for 1.9.0.796 Release Notes for 1.9.0.742 --- To be notified about all future Windows beta updates, please follow this notification thread To be notified when this Publisher update comes out of beta and is fully released to all Publisher customers, please follow this thread David Quail, A customer Serif lost, Petar Petrenko and 6 others 6

It's definitely a Windows executable in the Download link, and a later build than the previously released 1.9 beta, but at least the first 2 entries in the release log are for Mac. I'm quite sure "Copy and Paste" is the culprit as this new version is also available on Mac ....
