walkejos Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Does anyone know if there is an equivalent to the color deconvolution tool/plugin that is part of FIJI or the 4N6 color deconvolution plugin for photoshop? I'm curious if it is possible to do the same type of color deconvolution that is possible in both of those programs on immunohistochemistry slides. I can't find an equivalent tool or workaround to do this in Affinity Photo. Thanks if anyone has info on whether this is possible. https://biii.eu/colour-deconvolution https://4n6site.com/index.html Quote
firstdefence Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 The plugin is a .8bf file, I downloaded the tryout file and Affinity Photo doesn’t see it on Mac, you might have better luck on a windows system but in all likelihood, finding an alternative method is probably going to be the only path open at the moment. walkejos Posted November 20, 2020 Author Posted November 20, 2020 Thank you for your response to this. It is pretty much what I expected after fumbling around on my own. It's a bit of a bummer because I have had the best luck by far using Affinity to align images. However, the TIFF files that are produced by Affinity seem to have compatibility issues when I take them back to FIJI or the Aperio software to try and perform the color deconvolution. The TIFFs that get exported from Affinity open as multi-layered images in FIJI with one image for each RGB channel. I am assuming that I should be able to fix that if I get the export settings right, but the workflow from Aperio>Affinity>FIJI is really cumbersome. Quote
