Matt1010
Hi team, I was editting the car image on page 14, then suddenly Affinity crashed. Now if I open it again, after a couple of seconds, Affinity crashes as well. I have changed all the folder names that contain the images I used, to break the link, but that does not resolve the issue. Tried to very quickly remove some stuff that may cause the crash but no luck. I hope you can fix this file. Please note the crash happens seconds after closing the Resource Manager (that detects the missing images). Regards, Matt
carl123
Document appears to have 28 pages Could not recover pages 8,10,11,12 Page 8 is recoverable on its own but just will not copy back to page 8 in the document (weird) Was getting some strange error messages I had not seen before with this document (see image below) My confidence in this recovered document is 40%, so proceed with caution. You may want to wait until the support staff have had a look at the document to see if they can perform a better recovery of it. EDIT: 27/11/20 - Restored file removed at the request of the OP Edited November 27, 2020 by carl123 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Matt1010
Hi Carl, Thanks for your efforts, I can open the file but the images - even if the link is correct, still show up in low-res preview mode. Anyway, at least now I can replicate the layout in another file, should support not be able to provide a better recovery. Obviously, I don't have access to the linked files but I can replace them in Resource Manager OK, so not sure why they do not relink automatically, if the path names have not change. I may not wait for a fix of my file - I have deadlines to meet - but if it improves the product then that's a positive outcome too
