One gets always interrupted in the edit-flow in AP with many pictures opened at once in tabs,

because the wrong tools and tool sub-settings are preselected.

Eg. opening 40 images. I want to use just Inpainting on all of them.

On selection: I've to set "Lasso" AND "Polyg". AND "Add" on each image.

On every photo I've to select the"Inpainting"-fill setting again.

Pressing Return highlights the opacity of the fill setting, next Return sets the same opacity as it was

and the 3rd Return now uses Inpainting.

Pressing 1 x Return to confirm the dialog would be much better.

So 40 x 3 = 120 "returns" and 120 clicks for 40 images - 40 x Lasso, 40 x Lasso:Poly, 40 x Selection:Add

That's probably too much

I could think of an option

"Save current tool preferences as default" to handle that.

When changing to Fill-"protocol" back to Fill-"inpainting" the calculation is done again,

would be nice to not “recalc” here.

Remark: All in all Inpainting did a better job than PS, congrats! I did not expect this at that high level.

Some more speed enhancements (set guides)

- Draging out from the ruler should work with every tool, not just with the selection tool.

- While dragging the guideline: holding ALT should change the orientation (horizontal<->vertical)

Saving (many pictures opened)

- When pressing "Ctrl-W" and return the image is saved but still stays on top.

Here the tab should be "closed", so the next image to edit gets focus, ready for editing.

If the image is still saving and I just close another tab (without saving),

I jump back to the wrong tab (the one already saving ...)

Maybe I only overlooked some options I could set to enhance editing speed (?)

Thx,

S.
