Staff Dan C Posted November 12, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 12, 2020 Hi @simonartist, Unfortunately there's no dedicated option for exporting to 'Web safe', however you can achieve similar results in Affinity by changing the export settings. Which format are you looking to export to? For example, I would recommend using the following settings for JPEG, adjusting the 'Quality' slider until you're happy with the estimated file size, shown at the bottom the the export dialog - I hope this helps! Fixx Posted November 13, 2020 Share Posted November 13, 2020 "Web safe colour" usually means certain indexed colour palette. In the old days it was important as 8-bit displays were common. Nowadays it makes no difference as all displays are full colour. Anyway, Affinity does not support (very well) indexed colour, but you can export to indexed web safe colours when you use format GIF or PNG. simonartist Posted November 13, 2020 Author Share Posted November 13, 2020 Thanks, What I want is to preview the image before output so I can see the size and loading time. I have done most of my images are reduced to low quality in JPEG. and have to redo most of them because there is no preview to see when the quality starts to fade.
