Alfred Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Phil. The ‘Not responding’ message comes from Windows, not from Affinity Photo. It’s telling you that the OS is trying to communicate with the app but isn’t getting a response within a reasonable timeframe: this could be because the app has crashed, but it could simply be that the app is too busy doing something else. Because of the way file handling works in the Affinity apps, it’s best to work from a local drive and then copy the updated file when finished. Working directly from your NAS is liable to lead to data loss.
