Olof
I am unable to open TIF images from our high-speed camera (image attached), I get the message “affinity photo assigned your working profile to this unprofiled document” and the opened image is blank. There is no problem to open these images in other programs. I am running Windows 10 and Affinity Photo v 1.8.5.703 766 Hastighet000010.tif
Aad Slingerland
I checked this with AF version 1.8.5.703 and te beta version 1.9.0.834. No luck just a blanc image. Windows Explorer shows at least something in the preview pane. I can only confirm this, no solution however.
PaulEC
FWIW the file does open in Ifranview. I've attached a png version of it. I'm no expert, but there are a lot of variations in tif files, presumably there is something in this one that Affinity doesn't like! (It won't open at all in Serif PhotoPlus.) Aad Slingerland
FWIW indeed opens in my irfanview and ImageGlass as well. I did have a look at the structure of the TIFF file with the utility exiftool.exe (windows, this is the link: https://exiftool.org/). See also screen shot below No errors wer reported though. IMO this post could best be picked up by one of the Serif people for further investigation. Olof
Staff Lee D Posted November 11, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 11, 2020 @Olof I've logged this with the developers to look at to see if anything can be done. Olof
