But in lack of a photo managment software like Aperture - i don't like Lightroom - i use OS X Photos. So it would be nice to select one or more pictures from the OS X Photos Library to develop them in AP. Is something like this possible in a future version, or will there be a Affinity Library!? Staff MEB Posted August 31, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 31, 2015 Hi t_klein, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You can access Apple Photos library trough menu View ▸ Media Browser... in Afinity Photo. Apple haven't yet implemented the functionality to edit images using external editors, so it's not currently possible to save them back to Apple Photos. Staff MEB Posted September 2, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 2, 2015 Hi jonas14, Open the Media Browser (or press ⇧ (shift)+ ⌘ (cmd) + M) and double-click the image you want to open. You can also drag the images from there to the canvas. Seems to be working fine here with the latest Beta 1.3.5.1. Is it freezing for you consistently or was just with one particular image?
