There are people creating books with Publisher, it just doesn't have special features for it. Footnotes are generally expected to be added in a future version, and yes it is well known that they are sorely missing right now. Not everyone needs them, and those who do don't always need them for every project, but when they are needed, they are needed. Alfred 1

DJP Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 I also frequently need footnotes. I like so many things about Affinity Publisher, but can't move away from InDesign without footnotes/endnotes. I find it surprising that a program that is otherwise so capable lacks this basic feature, which has been often requested.
