I have to scan 1000’s of images of postcards and postage stamps. I can scan 3 cards or about 30 stamps at a time. At the moment I crop each one. Then resize and save for web at a lower resolution and finally save individually. Is it possible to do this using a macro for all items with one click?

Just blue sky thinking aloud here but it might be possible if all the cards and all the stamps are similar sizes and placed in the same place on the scanner bed, in that instance a frame might be useful to place the cards/stamps into on the scanner bed. You could even use thin low tack tape to create areas on the scanner bed or use a removable marker to draw lines to denote placement area's

It might be possible to have a template document set up to scan into that has export slices already set up.
