Anyabelle
On OSX, Affinity Designer 1.8 (and 1.9 tested also), using a Wacom Intous Pro. If I do quick strokes, Affinity Designer will freeze after a while and show the spinning ball. Only option seems to be to force quit the application and start it again. It seems as if the problem is worse, when pen pressure is turned on, but it also happens with pressure is off although maybe not as often. OSX is latest version and this is on a MacBook Air. I really hope there is a solution for this as this is turning into a blocker for my usage of this application. phfoto
Staff Sean P Posted November 10, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 10, 2020 Hi Anyabelle, Are you using the Stabiliser option? We're aware of a similar crash that can occur when using Pressure along with Rope Stabiliser.
phfoto
I get the same issue on El Capitan with a Wacom One CTL-672-N. No stabiliser is being used. It's becoming a bug that hinders badly now.
Anyabelle
The stabilizer is not enabled. Tried both with rope and window. It doesn't seem to make a difference. It really is a shame, since I love Affinity Designer and would rather not go back to the old ways.
