heyseva Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I did not see this exact problem within a form search. I imported a PDF into Publisher. Created a master page. Added a text frame. Inserted page number. Hashtag visible on master page. Attached doc page to master page. Text frame became visible on the doc page, but no page number visible. Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. When you say that you imported a PDF, it's not clear what you mean. You might have Opened it, or you might have used Document > Add Pages From File, or you might have used File > Place. Can you provide more details, please? And can you give us a screenshot of the Master Page, and another of the document page (with the Layers panel)? Old Bruce Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I'll wager that the PDF is covering the Page Number. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

If it's Placed, and expanded to cover the full page, that's a good guess. heyseva Posted November 9, 2020 Author Posted November 9, 2020 Thx for that! I'm not 100% sure, but Document>Add Pages From File sticks out in my memory. With the top layer chosen, I see the text frame around the pdf text. With the Rectange layer, I see the pdf text frame, the number frame, and a frame with handles around the whole page. With the Master A layer, I see a text frame around the whole page. When I click on the Master A layer, I get that last text frame on the layers panel, but no frames appear in the doc. Quote
prophet Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 I'd say drag the Master layer to the top of the layer stack and see what that does for you. Quote
heyseva Posted November 9, 2020 Author Posted November 9, 2020 I might have used File>Open>Choose File Quote
heyseva Posted November 9, 2020 Author Posted November 9, 2020 Thanks Prophet. That did it! Grateful! Quote
