Vophsigem Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 I'm working on Win10 with the current version of Designer. Sometime in the last week, the ability to use the keyboard shortcuts Control + V to paste stopped working. It pastes a little square box. I have to right-click and choose paste that way. Any ideas because this is really annoying? Thanks Quote

When you go into the preferences > keyboard shortcuts > Paste is there still a ctrl V showing assigned? Quote iMac (27-inch, Late 2009) with macOS Sierra
Vophsigem Posted November 4, 2020 Author Posted November 4, 2020 I'm not finding a paste option. I went through the list of options in the dropdown menu that I circled and scrolled through the options in the larger window for the dropdown items, but didn't find a paste. I closed the program and rebooted and that seemed to reset it so now it works. Weirdness. Quote

It’s the same on Windows except that it’s Ctrl instead of Cmd (⌘). The key point to note is that the ‘Paste’ command is on the Edit menu, not the Layer menu, so you need to make sure to select the correct option from the dropdown list below the one that says ‘Designer’.
