Hullo, JXC here;

Having had problems with purchasing 'AFFINITY PHOTO' - rather sad now that, having read your glowing reviews I ditched Adobe - and problems with receiving the licence: I had to send a screenshot of the PayPal page to get it re-sent -  I'm now astonished at the snail-like download.  Is this normal? MacBook Pro 2019 16" Catalina.

It started at 11amgmt and it's now 13:30 with a quarter downloaded.

Hi @JX Coudrille,

Welcome to the forums :)

I can confirm that this certainly isn't expected, depending on your internet download speed.

Can you please visit the below link, then select 'Run Speed Test' under the Google search, and then let me know your reported download speed here? This should look as below -

Many thanks in advance!

Perhaps. Only if you are (like I am) using the wifi connection, try an ethernet cable if that is the case.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.2
Affinity Designer 2.3.1 | Affinity Photo 2.3.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.3.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Unlikely.

You did not report back on your broadband speed you can go to

https://www.speedtest.net/

and let us know what your download speed is

If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

I had this a while back downloading the betas:

More than likely it’s your provider’s routing to the download server that’s the issue. And more than likely is just a temporary problem. I'm in the UK and for me it lasted two or three days and just affected files held on some servers in America and not just Serif's files.
