Background is White! How to make it Transparant?

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

After document creation, File > Document Setup:

While creating the document with File > New:

But note that to keep the transparency you'll eventually need to export your logo to a file format that supports transparency.

Thank you Walt,

that explains my problem perhaps. I am trying to export in jpg / png which automatically seems to add the white background. Just tried it again. My email program is only accepting jpg and png as signatures so Affinity Designer might not be able to help me out here 😞

Kind regards, Sjoerd

The JPEG format doesn’t support transparency but PNG should be OK if you choose the appropriate export settings.
