Pjklos Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 I'm using an Epson Artison 1430, but cannot get my pictures to print 4x6 borderless. They continue to show a white border on the left and right sides of the picture. Top and bottom go all the way to the border. I've attached screenshots of: -Printer setting -Affinity print settings I can attach a copy showing the final print, but not here. Files are too big already. Would anyone have a suggestion on how to correct this issue? Thank you, Pamela Quote
Pjklos Posted November 3, 2020 Author Posted November 3, 2020 Here is how the picture turns out. Thanks again, Pamlea Quote
carl123 Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 Looks borderless to me What is the aspect-ratio/size of the document? Easier still, can you upload the Affinity document you are trying to print? Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Pjklos Posted November 3, 2020 Author Posted November 3, 2020 The border-less part is working at the top and bottom of the photo, but the left and right sides are not printing out to the edge. I've attached the file here. Quote
carl123 Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 Hi you appear to be printing to 6x4 (inch) paper but your image is not the same ratio. Your image has a ratio of 5.33x 4 (inch) hence it will fill it as best it can height wise but will leave blank space on either side (the width). If you want it to fill the paper completely you need to crop the image to a 6x4 ratio (best) or distort it so the width increase. Some print software may allow you to specify filling in the page completely but that simply crops or distorts the image as detailed above Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Pjklos Posted November 3, 2020 Author Posted November 3, 2020 That makes total sense. I felt that might be the issue, but wasn't sure. The software I worked with in the past did fill it automatically by cropping. Thank you for your help, Pamela Quote
