Chris On Internet
C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. Chris On Internet
Thanks for your answer Callum. I know how to use split frequency, i use it every day with several different brushes or tools in Photoshop. What i said is Patch tool is one of these tools i use but in Affinity Photo this Patch tool and its nodes seems unproductive in extensive usage (i tried it). Split Frequency is not only for removing spots but can also be used to soften tones on a skin. Patch tool is good for that but unusable in Affinity Photo. Regards, Chris. Staff Callum Posted September 4, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 4, 2015 Hi Chris, I am sorry that you feel as though the Patch tool is unusable to you. I am struggling to understand as to why the nodes are the cause of this, could please provide an example of why the nodes are making the tool unproductive? Staff Pauls Posted September 4, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 4, 2015 I only get the handles if I click on the patch. Is that what you are doing?
Chris On Internet
Paul, No, the handles appear also if i click outside the patch...
Staff Pauls Posted September 4, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 4, 2015 I think it's meant to be used without clicking - the click finalises the patch which is why the handles appear. It works slightly differently to photoshop in this respect.
Kodiak
