I created a document inside designer.(also created an artboard)

Opened it up in Affinity Photo. Painted a bit and tried to save...but the save process could not be finished

Hope you can fix this :)

p.s. I really love your app, although there are some issues especially with symbols and pixel layers but hey... it's a new program with many good ideas. Give it some time and I am sure it will become a great Application

Best,

Tobias

Hi @lost_post,
Can you please confirm you are using Google Drive File Stream and not the regular Google Drive app?

It's quite possible it's what causing these issues. We recommend to work directly from the local disk as Affinity requires permanent access to the file (it doesn't load everything to memory for performance reasons) to work properly. Working directly from USB sticks/drives, sync cloud folders, NAS is NOT recommended as it may lead to file corruption/other issues. Can you please move the file to your desktop or other non-sync folder on your local disk before opening it, then work from there a few days and check if you still have issues saving to the file please? Thanks.
