CraigK Posted October 30, 2020 Share Posted October 30, 2020 I am using the latest Affinity Designer and I am having issues with the Boolean Subtract function. I have a blue rectangle curve at the bottom of my layer stack and fifty white star curves above it. I am trying to subtract the stars from the blue rectangle. When I do the subtract function, the white stars disappear, but show that they are still there, but now part of the blue triangle and have not been cut out. lepr Posted October 30, 2020 Share Posted October 30, 2020 Select the result of the Subtract. Look in the Layer > Fill Mode submenu. If Winding is ticked, click on Alternate. I need these stars to show transparent through the blue rectangle. It's for a garment print file and I need the white to be transparent as the white will not print on a white shirt. anon2's answer provided the solution. Many thanks.
