lewist57 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 I hate asking this, because I am sure there are already hundreds of videos and tips, but here goes. Here is what I want to accomplish, pardon the lack of use of the correct terminology: 1) Selection the profile of a person in Photo 1. 2) Replace the background with alpha channel 3) Make the profile selection of the person completely black 4) Insert the black 'cutout' of the person's profile into Photo 2. Thanks! Quote

Thanks! Hi and welcome to the forums. After point 1 (when you have the selection made ) 1.1) Make a new pixel layer and fill the selection with black. 1.2) deselect the profile and copy the Pixel Layer with the black profile 1.3) Paste the layer into Photo 2 I am not sure why you want to make an alpha channel so I am ignoring that. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
lewist57 Posted October 30, 2020 Author Posted October 30, 2020 Many thanks for your input, I am more of a Daviinci Resolve user and only use Photo once in a blue moon, and was thinking more of the workflow for Resolve. Quote
