I am having issues with the embedded layer not staying within the confines of the smart object mask. It will work one time (when I delete and reinstall AP) and then not again. Smart objects are enabled.

Is this a memory/ram issue or an app issue?

I have an iPad Air 3 256gb with less than 50gb used.

Hi @Tara D,

Welcome to the forums :)

Could you please provide a copy of the .PSD file being opened here, so that we can look into this for you?

Many thanks in advance!

Who would I send it too? I have this one and another scene creator and neither work. 😞 but they are paid files that I don’t want to share publicly.

Many thanks for the document :)

I can confirm a few things here - firstly the mask that's being imported into Affinity is correct, as this is exactly the same as the mask in Photoshop.

Unfortunately the issue here is that the .PSD file uses a Smart Filter - Puppet Warp in Photoshop, and this is not a supported Smart Feature in Affinity currently, my apologies.

Without this warp, the mask does not line up correctly with the design, hence the issue you're seeing.

We hope to support this type of 'warp' in Affinity in the future, however we have no timescale for this at this time, my sincerest apologies!
