Hi

I'm trying to find a way in Publisher, to make text fit to the outline of an image.  As an example, if the image is a scroll I would like the text to look as if it is actually written on the scroll, rather than just being a straight line along the image.

I thought I may be able to draw a line the right shape and then fit the text to the path, but I cannot find a way to draw freehand lines.  There is mention of a pencil tool but I can't find it.

All help appreciated.

You're looking for the pen tool for the base path, to this curve you can add your text via artistic text (cursor has to be near the curve and will change at a suitable position, then click)

... unlike shown in the video you probably want to disable the stroke of the path before adding the text, otherwise it will stay visible.
