Is there a way to lock the pixels in Affinity Photo and set the overall color?

Recommended Posts

We don't have a default shortcut to fill a layer, but if you go into Preferences for Affinity and on the Keyboard Shortcuts section, if you change the 2nd dropbox to Edit, you can set a shortcut for 'Fill with primary colour'.  Once you've set that, if you then add an empty layer you can then use the shortcut to fill that layer with whichever colour you have set as the primary colour on the Colour Panel.
