What is this box?

Excuse me if this is common knowledge, but I tried finding an answer elsewhere and couldn't because it's kind of hard to describe to a search engine. What is this box that only shows on the 3rd page of my document? Copying the contents of each page manually to a new document keeps this box but can't select it.

The outer one should be the result of the bleed settings, the inner one the space enclosed by your margins. Both should be accessible via right click on your page > layout page I think, can't check right now

 My margins are set to .5in and I have no bleed set. Again this only appears on the 3rd page and when I add a page before it, that page gets the box.

We would need to see the file, just save a copy and delete any and all stuff from that copy which you would not want us to see.
