Kingsley
I am getting a repeating crash when trying to merge 7 raw Nikon D850 images in the HDR Merge. It opens the first image ok, then the system crashes and closes. Same occurs if I try TIF's and JPG's of the images. walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Kingsley. Sorry, I can't help directly with your crash. However, I would recommend that you not try to merge RAW files. The only time that RAW files go through the full Develop process is if you use FIle > Open or File > New Batch Job in Photo. I believe you will get better results if you use one of those methods to generate TIFF files, and then use the HDR merge on those TIFF files. (Additionally, this may avoid the crash ) Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. AiDon
Just check what renderer you are using, if it is a NVIDIA GPU change to an alternate one (if you have one on the PC) or set it to WARP. Thanks! That helped for me. AP repeatedly crashed as soon as I tried to load images into the HDR Tool. I also tried different file formats, wich didn't help. Switching to WARP fixed the issue thought. Thank you. AiDon
