u&i
Hi, can I let the alpha channel of the fill color of 2 paths (each on an own layer) be operated with by a selected mask operation such as subtract? How? Thanks, u&i

u&i
so i found a way to achieve the desired outcome: selecting both layers, choosing Layers -> Geometry -> XOR from the menubar. But this leaves only 1 layer present, I seem not be able to edit the cutting path anymore. How can I leave the cutting path editable or if it still is, how can I access it? u&i
I can select the resulting layer and choose Layers -> Geometry -> separate layers from the menubar, get 2 layers again, edit the cutting path and XOR them again. How can I achieve this as quickly as clicking the border of the cutted path where the cutting path cut? Do you see the "e" image post? It's indicated as "Hidden" to me. u&i
I see clicking inside the space cut from the path with the node selection tool results in all combined paths nodes be shown and be editable.
lepr
Hold down alt/option key as you perform the XOR to create a Compound, which is a container like a Group that enables non-destructive Boolean operations.
