Tutorial required affinity photo vector and paths

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I do NOT have Affinity Designer, only Photo. I do like to know more about paths and vectors and what is possible in Affinity Photo. Almost all tutorials will sent me to Designer (logical) when I search on youtube. Can anyone point me to a site where basics are explained and the possibilities of drawing in Affinity Photo? I know my way around very old versions of Illustrator. But I am not an artist, designer nor I have an education in that field.

thanks and have a nice day.

Yolanda

Some of the official Designer tutorials https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/designer/desktop/ – those concerning the basics of vector drawing, for instance – also apply to Photo; most of the basic tools and functionalities are the same in both (and Publisher too).
Pick a Designer tutorial and try doing what the tutorial says in Photo instead.
Then, when you come to a problem, ask a question about that specific issue in the forums and someone may be able to help (and maybe give a workaround if Photo doesn’t have the tool/function you need).
