jlhopes
When working in a document that has a lot of text styles, it can be hard to find the style for the current text -- it requires a lot of scrolling through the list of styles to find the one that is highlighted. It would be nice if the style for the current text (where the cursor is positioned) could always be visible in the Text Styles studio panel. OP clearly understands that the current text style is selected in the panel, it's just that if the list is long then you have to scroll a lot to find it: …it requires a lot of scrolling through the list of styles to find the one that is highlighted. This is especially true if the panel is part of the combined panels and not a big independent panel like you showed. What I want, and I think that's what OP also wants, is that the panel automatically scrolls to the selected text style for the current cursor position. Yes it shows there, but you can't right-click on that to access the contextual menu that you can in the panel. When I work with text styles I use that menu a lot. So the scroll-to-current-text-style is still needed.

MikeTO
+1 The OP is correct, the Text Styles panel does not auto scroll to show the current selected style. It should.
