Staff Sean P Posted October 21, 2020 Staff Share Posted October 21, 2020 Hi wintermute, Unfortunately currently when placing a PDF we're having to interpret all the contents, unlike InDesign, which allows it to pass through the PDF 'as-is'. The issue with the small caps not appearing correctly is a known one that is with development to be fixed. With that said this is something we're looking to improve. Regarding the Save As option being disabled - that is intentional otherwise it will leave a loose end with the document you've got the file embedded into. You can however use the 'Snapshot Panel' to create a snapshot and then create a new document from that one allowing you to close the embedded one and save to a new file.
