RISCfuture Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 I dragged a .svg file into my Affinity Publisher document and the SVG was displayed incorrectly (all fills were black). So I attempted to remove it, but I can't. Deleting the layer is not an option; I can't select the image to delete it; I can't remove it using the Resource Manager. Is there any way to get rid of this SVG image?? Quote
GarryP Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 Welcome to the forums @RISCfuture Try selecting the Embedded (or Linked) Document layer in the Layers Panel, then right-clicking the same layer and choosing “Delete” from the pop-up menu. If that doesn’t work you may need to give us a full-screen screen-grab showing the layer selected in the Layers Panel for us to see what’s happening. Quote
thomaso Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 If the image was placed inside a master layer (and shows handles as x instead of • if selected) you would right-click the master layer in the Layers Panel and choose "Edit detached". This will give full access to all nested layers and allow to select, move or delete items.
