A File used to work fine on previous AFDesigner version but causes crash now

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I want to request an email of a private chat channel where i can send a file for my work that i use, but now it takes about 20 tp 30 minutes to open and most of the time it causes my mac to crash. (it previously took seconds to open this particular file). other files has no problem working on in this version of designer. I tried resaving it with new version yet issue still exists.

Hi Aaron Martin,
I already got/checked the file. It's loading for me in about one minute however i found some slowdowns while manipulating/moving objects etc. At the time i had various apps running in background, which could be interfering so i left it for a second look later with a clean system which i haven't done yet. I will get back to you as soon as i have some news.

For me. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to open on 2019 base macbook pro. After some tweaks (moving objects around four or five times) computer shuts down suddenly and my mac’s fan goes loud for a second (after the screen going off) and than mac turns on again. What do u think might be the cause of this? In a seperate file, i deleted more than half of the artboard and save the file again (so file size get reduced) problem still persists. Is it cause of cpu not being powerful enough? Thanks for the update
