Won't print in centre of page

Recommended Posts

Hi, is there a way to centre printing in the centre of the page? I want to print an image on both sides of the paper, but when I do the centres of each image don't line up, there always seems to be a bigger margin on one side. I remember with adobe there was an option to check where the centre of the image was in relation to the centre of the physical paper before printing and adjust it if necessary, is there an option like that for printing in affinity designer?

As a small workaround you can print with model N-Up. There you can define the margins from left and top. Perhaps you have print front first and then with different margins the back.

Just a "centre on page" would solve the problem for duplex printing - Affinity apps aren't really up to the job for anything other very basic RGB raster printing - I really hope this will change in future

FWIW – I haven't tried it myself, but I see that Foxit has an auto centre setting. It might be worth exporting as a PDF then printing from Foxit (free), or try with another PDF reader that you have.
