Slammer
Time for something spacey again, I call this: "The launch" a young civilization setting out into the unknown for the first time. AffinityJules, 000 and dannyg9
John Rostron
An imaginative composition, but (there is lays a but)... I have tried reconcile the angle of the planetary rings with the curvature of the horizon, and I cannot see how the observer could see both the planet and the rings as you have configured them. Slammer
That was indeed a toughie, I got the idea from Cassini´s dive into Saturn and applied the rings to a much smaller planet, maybe I´ll do another ringed planet.
gewoonm
Wow, that Cassini image is incredible! I like the launch image you made and the story that goes with it. For me the star/asteroid distracts a bit

gewoonm
Ha, now I get it: we see the space ship AND the booster my interpretation was that the booster was the space ship, and the other thing was a “falling star” that happened to be “in the picture” as well. Shows how much I know about space 😂
