So to test, I opened a PDF smart form that had text in the fileds, with Photoshop - no problems  - text was still there.

Then I tried to open the same PDF file into Affinity Photos - the text was stripped out - the fields were empty.

 

Is there anyway to Open smart form PDFs and retain the text that the original author had put into the fields?

Hi @Mr. Paul,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

I don't believe this is possible with Affinity currently, but I'd like to run some further testing before confirming this.

Could you please provide a sample PDF document, with the Smart Forms preset? Many thanks in advance :)
