patoth66
I am a affinity user, but I wish for a dedicated raw editor in affinity! Something just as powerfull as LR, Capture one or Photoninja! The current developer persona is not good enough! I want everything in one place!) For raw edit I use Photoninja! Is there ever going to be a more powerful develop persona? Nikon Shooter
The purpose of a pixel editor like AP is to modify, manipulate an image. A RAW file is not an image but an unalterable data file that may be de- veloped by means of unsaved sidecar(s) files and then exported to any image format of your choosing that can then be worked in a pixel editor. The AP's develop persona means to give one access to such an image from a RAW file. For this reason, AP will develop but one file at the time. I use a dedicated RAW converter and Affinity's suite in my workflow. An all in one solution at this point is possibly a good idea but I', not sure it would be a blessing. patoth66
I know! I have used Affinity photo since 2017, and I like it. As I mentioned I use Photoninja and then AP. I understand the you cant have a DAM funktion in AP. What I was hoping for was a much improved develop persona, with better algorithms for the RAW handeling functionality! Develop persona dosent come close to Photoninja or Silkypix!
Nikon Shooter
A DAM is not usually in the scope of a pixel editor but many converters offer it.
