I've searched/watched many videos and tutorials on applying textures to images or selections and from what I've seen the photoshop 'texturized' feature

feature makes the process much simpler and less time consuming. perhaps I've yet to find a simplified process or technique; but a texturizing tool

similar to that found in photoshop would be a great time saver for me (in, for example, applying slight texture to skin)

Thanks

Agreed. I used the texture feature in Photoshop to texture imitation photo albums, pages, on line drawings, on and on. Its the one reason I keep my Photoshop CS6 on my computer - otherwise I would have to create tons of texured images and then import them into Affinity and then overlay them. A big pain in the butt!
