Change transparency background darkness

Recommended Posts

I work with transparent backgrounds a lot, but I am unable to find a way to change the darkness of the transparency background pattern. This makes it very difficult to work with white text and logos. Is this a feature that is coming soon?

Thank you!

As a workaround you can cover the background area with some graylevel-to-black colored rectangle and lock that rectangle. Then adjust the layer opacity of that rectangle on demand. If no longer needed you can remove or hide that rectangle layer.

... or set Artboards Fill color and its Opacity.

You shouldnt need to use a workaround for this. This is an extremly easy thing for the Affinity Team to implement and would be very very useful.

PLEASE AFFINITY TEAM, read this post and implement the possibility to change the background transparency darkness on document level.
