Fill Tool bug - Slow down and crashing.

“Fill tool” is doing multiple fill actions by just scrolling/browsing the “Fill Type” carousel.

It’s creating multiple history states by just scrolling the “Fill Type” option and sometimes causing a slow down and even a crash!

I’ve attached a video demonstrating the bug, notice the “history studio”.

Restarting the app didn’t help!

Hey ReapR7,

Thanks for the report and video. It looks like this is logged so I've linked your thread to the bug report. I did get a crash after a couple of minutes..

Thanks!

I had done multiple layer work already after which I chose to use the Fill Tool, so for me, scrolling the Fill Type slowed down the whole app and the app crashed within few seconds. But on a new document it doesn’t crash very soon!

The issue "Scrolling through Fill Tool's fill mode list will flood the History entries" (REF: AFD-4321) has been fixed by the developers in build "2.2.0 Release".

This fix is in the current customer release.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us
