Hi!

Whenever I use any of the drawing/painting tools on Designer, my screen turns black for a few seconds. I wouldn't mind if it only happened once or twice while I'm drawing, but it's almost constant -- usually after a second or two of drawing, whether I'm using the stabilising feature or not, making it impossible to continue without me getting really frustrated (because all my lines go off-course or stop abruptly), especially since the screen will turn black again before I can fix it or erase the problem. Has anyone else experienced this or knows how to fix it?

Thanks in advance

(Note: Newbie digital artist here, downloaded the 10 day free trial Affinity Designer software to try out -- my medion laptop uses Windows 10)

Can you check the apps Performance panel in Preferences to see what the Renderer is currently set to and try changing it to WARP to see if the same issue occurs. Also check to make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your graphics card.

I had same problem, and this solved it. Thanks.
