Snapsbyjak Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 Hi All, new user here, I was experimenting with external and cloud storage, I have this afphoto file I was working on and as you can see it won’t load! I exists both in my iCloud Drive storage and on an external HD, can anyone offer a solution? im trying to move my workflow onto my iPad and would like to get my head round how I can either store my files on my iCloud storage or my external drive, but obviously if I’m not able to reload these files this is a huge problem! thanks in advance Quote
Staff Callum Posted October 11, 2020 Staff Posted October 11, 2020 Hi Snapsbyjak, Welcome to the forums I'm sorry to hear you are no long able to open your file please could you answer the below questions so I can investigate this further with you. Are you able to access the file in Finder on your ipad? Have you tried closing and reopening Affinity? What kind of drive is it that the file has been stored on? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.

Thanks C Hi! thanks for your reply: 1. I can see the file in the finder, both on my external drive and on my iCloud Drive, the file fails to open from either destination with the same dialog that you can see in my screenshot 2. I’ve tried that, also power cycling my iPad 3. it is stored both on iCloud Drive and on an external SSD GDrive TIA Quote
