Publisher - Resizing Master Pages causes Freezing

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am on windows10 with Publisher v1.8.5.703,
I have a document fully finished . Unfortunately the artist who worked on it made it 18 inch x 12 inch while it needs to be 17 inch x11 inch , due to some misunderstanding about 1 inch margins...

Luckily for me , he used all kinds of containers(frame and text boxes) for text and nothing is freely floating. All I need to do is resize the masters' dimensions, scale a few frames and be done with it. (we have like 5 master pages) However I cant.
I double click on a master and then click on spread setup, select all spreads and change the dimensions. The software freezes, can only be shut down with task manager.

Is there a solution to this ? I dont want to turn an hour of work tops to a week of work.

Thanks

Have you tried changing the master pages sizes individually, this may allow the resizing to be complete so the document can be exported. If not can you provide a link to the document, if not for public view, send me a link in a PM so I can take a look.
