Hey guys, I'm new to affinity and I'm having a few problems adjusting from photoshop, maybe they are dumb questions but I'm not being able to figure it out. One of the problems I'm having is that when copy something and go create a new file for it, the size of the artbord is completely random, while in photoshop the program already asked if I wanted to create an artboard the size of what I was copying. Is there a way to do that in affinity? Also when I do go paste the photo that I copied it pastes completely of centre so I have to manually align to the art board. It seams like very little but it seriously disturbs my work flow! Also when it is there a pattern fill like in photoshop? I know I can do a bitmap fill but I can't seem to control the scale (is there a way to do that)?
I'm thankful for all the help you guys can give me

Regarding the copy/new document, Are you using File > New From Clipboard?
