Slayman
When I use drop shadows on projects, sometimes I like to make the shadow smaller than the object. This helps create a 3-D effect. It would be nice to have a SCALE shadow or SCALE Radius option.
PaulEC
Couldn't you use inner shadow for the same effect? Slayman
basically something like this. The shadow is scaled down giving the illusion that the square is closer to the viewer.

I'm sorry, but for me it creates illusion of a strange shadow, than a square closer. RNKLN
I would draw a 2nd smaller rectangle, apply a Gaussian blur effect (as well as maybe some other effects, e.g. perspective) and put it behind the original. Slayman
that's what I'm doing but would be nice to have a scale feature in FX for outer shadow. It would save time.
