I tried creating a new document with just a A screen recording showing your save process and the (lack of) results would certainly help mods when reporting the issue to developers. You can activate screen recording in iPads Control Centre settings. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Jorge Mankita
This is still happening, a Moderator should take a look in this, this problem is a dealbraker for a complete switch from adobe.
jeffreydevey
I've experienced this issue as well, and have had to adapt to using "Save" from the gallery view to make sure my work is actually saved. Another issue I'm having is the changes are not being saved to my current file, but rather a duplicate "Untitled" file is being saved to iCloud for every save action, so it becomes annoying to sort through several "Untitled" files to find the one I'm looking for, then delete the others. I will also repeat the earlier advice of not closing any files on the iPad until you've confirmed the changes have actually been written by opening the file with the desktop app. This is one of the most annoying issues of going back-and-forth between the desktop and iOS apps, so I hope they get it sorted out. DM1
WARNING: If you don’t see the swirling gear icon and see 'saving' pop up on the screen then it’s no longer saving your edits when you tap save. It seems that any time the app is force closed (ie closed without returning to the Home Screen), the link between the sandbox file and the saved afdesign file is broken.
